Morgan Stanley and IBM jointly hosted the 11th Annual WBC Technology Symposium on Thursday, May 24, 2007. The topic was Globalization: A Multi-Dimensional Aspect - How Technology Influences Collaboration. Jane Carlin, MD Morgan Stanley, gave the keynote speech highlighting technologies that have influenced operational risk decisions and platforms. The panelists included Caroline Arnold, MD Morgan Stanley, Val Rahmani, GM IBM, and Christine Kite, VP Cisco. Carol Evans, President and CEO of Working Mother Magazine, moderated a very lively discussion ranging from collaborative technologies such as the evolution of instant messaging and email, to more personal mentoring topics such as "What makes you feel powerful?" The discussion held a room of 200 attendees and was a success.
