For the second year, Thomson chic, Thomson Financial's Women's Network hosted the Women's Bond Club Annual Market Outlook debate. The event centered on trends and opportunities in the Global financial markets. The panel was moderated by Becky Quick, the host of CNBC's "Squawk Box" and seven year veteran of The Wall Street Journal, and featured five leading women in the financial industry:

The panel discussion covered a variety of topics including predictions of future Federal Reserve actions, effects of the housing market, the US impact on the global markets, trends in the commodities market, global exchange consolidation and the level of regulation versus deregulation and Basel II. The panelists provided strong and often differing opinions, which led for an exciting and informative discussion that encouraged great participation from the audience.
More than 125 people attended this very successful evening, including Women's Bond Club members and Thomson Financial clients and employees. Sharon Rowlands welcomed the audience and panel to Thomson Financial, and Sarah Dunn offered closing remarks. Feedback from the event was extremely positive, with many attendees commenting that the discussion was highly informative, engaging and insightful, while the reception provided a great forum for networking.
