Volunteers for the YWCA Women's Empowerment Network Career Series

The women come from every area of life and their stories and backgrounds are extremely varied.

Part of the program is an opportunity to hear from and meet women currently working (at all levels and professions) and we are looking for volunteers who would like to share their story.

This is an informal presentation. It would be you, the 12 students - and the rest is up to you. It can be as structured or loose a conversation as you feel necessary. In the past some of the themes talked about have included:

  • Researching jobs
  • Networking skills
  • Building personal confidence
  • Working and having a family
  • Being a single Mom
  • Interview prep.

If you are interested in being part of the class the slots available are listed below. There are more details I will share once your date is selected. One last thing - the women in the program benefit tremendously from these speakers. This is your moment to be the inspiration and remind other women that they do have the ability to change their circumstances. I hope you will participate.
