Hiring Manager - Wendy Wu, NYSE

Wendy Wu works within the Exchange Traded Products and Global Indexes team at the New York Stock Exchange. This past summer, Samantha Kong worked within Wendy's team by supporting in the analysis of statistics, creating fact sheets for distribution to clients and maintaining and updating the listed products spreadsheet for the team. Wendy was first introduced to the opportunity to have a WBC scholarship winner as an intern through past WBC Co-President Lisa Dallmer. Since Wendy's team had a heavy workload, the internship allowed the team to focus more attention on a number of incomplete projects. Wendy was impressed with Samantha's work in developing the template for the fact sheets that will ultimately be distributed to the firm's clients. Wendy was impressed with the caliber of the WBC scholarship winners she interviewed noting that they were very bright and articulate. She believes that the WBC mentoring program and internship opportunities "play a pivotal role in opening doors for young intelligent women who are interested in entering this profession".
