Scholarship Programs

The objective of the Women's Bond Club Scholarship Program is to award a scholarship to a young woman in high school who is looking to advance in a career in business/finance. Since its inception in 2000, WBC has awarded 26 scholarships totaling $400,000 under the Scholarship Program.

The $20,000 scholarship is merit based and is awarded to the student over the course of 4 years ($5,000/year) to pay for books, expenses, etc. The award does not impact further financial aid consideration. Proof of registration is required prior to each year's scholarship payment. School transcript after each semester is also required to verify GPA.

The WBC Scholarship Program is available to a select number of NYC public high schools with a business curriculum. Each school is allowed up to 3 applications. While the New York City Department of Education has many public high schools, the WBC offers the scholarship to business-oriented high schools in Manhattan, as a method of narrowing the number of schools.
